REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, AND CANCELLATION

Please be advised that the Spa Lady agreements are non-refundable, non-transferable and may only be cancelled in the limited circumstances outlined in the following Cancellation Policy.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

This agreement is non-cancellable by the Buyer or Member during the Initial Term unless the following conditions apply:

(a) Distance: If a Member moves further than 30 kms from the Club and is unable to transfer this Agreement to an affiliated facility; OR

(b) Death or Disability: If by reason of death or disability, the Member is unable to use the Club. "Disability" means a medical condition which precludes the Member from using the Club for the entire remaining Initial Term and such condition is verified in writing by a physician licensed to practice medicine in Alberta; AND

(c) Cancellation Fee: Payment of the cancellation fee of $150.00 has been received by Paramount; AND

(d) Proof: The member or her estate has provided evidence of the Death or Disability or Distance in sufficient detail and in a form which is satisfactory to Paramount; AND

(e) Account Status: The membership account is current and in good standing at the time all other conditions for cancellation have been satisfied.

The Buyer shall be relieved from the obligation of any further membership payments only upon Paramount giving Notice that all the conditions for cancellation.

BONUSES AND INCENTIVES

RECEIVE 6 MONTHS OF DISCOUNTED DUES FOR THE FOLLOWING:

(Applicable only on the LIFESTYLE memberships)

  1. on enrollment on your first visit. First visit is the first time you are presented with the 2 Year LIFESTYLE Program and offered the bonus.

  2. for paying in full at enrollment or making all your monthly payments by automatic debit (EFT)

  3. for sponsoring a new member in our LIFESTYLE Program. Sponsorship bonuses must be claimed in writing by the sponsor within 12 months.

The Club may offer enrollment and sponsorship incentives and bonuses from time to time. Such incentives and bonuses are offered on a first come, first serve basis, while quantities last, and are not guaranteed.

Advertised specials and enrollment incentives (unless otherwise specified) are available to first time Members only.

If the contractual bonuses or incentive requirements are not fulfilled completely by the Buyer or the Member(s) sponsored, the bonus or incentive may be disqualified and cancelled without notice to the Member or Buyer.

When the Member is required to provide notice to Paramount that she has satisfied the the sponsorship requirements to qualify for a membership extension or any other bonus or incentive, she must provide written notice in a form acceptable to Paramount within twelve months of qualifying to receive the extension, bonus, or incentive and at least 30 days before the expiry of her membership.

 

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL POLICY

Regular 1 year, Lifestyle and 3 year Membership Agreements shall continue on a month to month basis following the expiry of the Initial Term until the Buyer provides Notice in accordance with the Membership Agreement. The Buyer will be liable for the payment of all Dues which come due prior to the Buyer's Notice of termination and within the 30 days following the Notice.
